Nature In Magnesium Heat Balm became available at Hands stores in late October 2026. Leep announced the expansion on November 6; the new development is its rollout to physical stores. Some stores do not carry it, depending on their size and department layout.
Magnesium as a skin-conditioning ingredient in a topical balm
Magnesium Heat Balm is a body cosmetic containing magnesium chloride as a skin-conditioning ingredient. The balm includes jojoba seed oil, sunflower seed oil and beeswax, among other ingredients. Its purpose differs from a supplement taken orally.
Vanillyl butyl ether, capsicum fruit extract, ginger root extract and long pepper fruit extract are combined to create a warming sensation after application. Firmness, spreadability and fragrance are also factors to consider when choosing it.
A layered woody fragrance led by hinoki
Hinoki wood oil leads the fragrance, layered with frankincense, cedarwood, rosewood and black pepper oils. The manufacturer describes a subtly sweet scent with dry, incense-like depth.
In-store prices including tax are ¥2,970 for 80g and ¥1,980 for 30g. Hands adds a physical-store option for a product already sold through the official online store and other online marketplaces.

Use a pearl-sized amount as a guide and adjust for skin condition
The official directions are to scoop a pearl-sized amount into your hand and blend it into the area of concern. It can also be used for body care over the whole body. The manufacturer advises starting with a small amount on wet skin, such as after bathing, because the warming sensation can feel stronger.
Do not use on areas with wounds, swelling, eczema or other abnormalities, and avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Wash hands after use and stop using if it does not suit your skin. Rather than routinely increasing the amount to seek more warmth, prioritize this product’s dosage and precautions.
The official product page also lists all ingredients. The guide below selects general checks for your hands when spreading body cosmetics from an article about body cream. It does not replace this balm’s amount or instructions for use on wet skin.
