N+ has introduced a new series for adult women’s winter wardrobes. It uses the moisture-absorbing, heat-generating fill found in Nitori’s N Warm, with different placement and material combinations for each of the four styles.
A coat that covers the neck, with an adjustable waist and cuffs
The N Warm Padded Stand-Collar Coat uses moisture-absorbing, heat-generating fill throughout. It combines a stand collar covering the neck with a drawstring for cinching the waist. Tabs on the cuffs also adjust the fit.
Colors are Black, Ivory, and Camel. The price is ¥7,990 (tax included).
A mixed-material jacket and a long vest
The N Warm Mixed-Material Padded Jacket uses moisture-absorbing, heat-generating fill in the quilted sections, with stretchy shaggy-backed fabric under the sleeves and across the back. The hood is removable. It comes in Ivory, Camel, and Black for ¥6,990 (tax included).
The N Warm Mixed-Material Padded Vest has diamond quilting and a long silhouette. It uses moisture-absorbing, heat-generating fill in the quilted sections and stretchy shaggy-backed fabric across the back. A drawstring adjusts the waist, and the hood has a brushed interior. It comes in Camel, Ivory, and Black for ¥5,990 (tax included).
Different materials on the front and back of the pants
The N Warm Magic Belt Stretch Pants use moisture-absorbing, heat-generating fill at the front and stretchy brushed fabric at the back. They have an elastic waistband.
They come in Moss Green, Navy, and Black, with short, regular, and long lengths available. The price is ¥3,990 (tax included).
The heat-generation comparison comes from a fabric test
The company explains that fabric used for the stand-collar coat showed a maximum temperature difference of about 2.5°C compared with fabric of the same construction using ordinary polyester fill.
This result compares the interiors of 10 cm × 10 cm test specimens at 20°C and 90% humidity; it does not indicate the temperature felt when wearing the garment. The jacket, vest, and pants use different fabrics and placement of the moisture-absorbing, heat-generating fill, so their test results also differ.
