MakanaTiare, a fully bespoke shaping lingerie brand, will hold a free fitting and consultation event at the Makana salon in Otsu, Shiga Prefecture, on Saturday, November 7, 2026. The event celebrates the opening and was announced on Thursday, October 22.

The women-only salon operates entirely by appointment and offers bras made from patterns tailored to each individual. Measurements at eight points around the bust and try-ons are used to assess physical characteristics such as differences between the left and right sides. The event introduces an approach that differs from choosing ready-made bras by cup and underband size alone.
Product samples and fabrics will be displayed on the day, with consultations and fittings available. The brand is inviting women in their 30s to 50s who have concerns about the fit of ready-made bras. Those who do not plan to place an order may also attend.
Time required, registration, and event-day benefits
According to the official registration form, consultation, measurements, and fitting alone take approximately 30 minutes. Those wishing to place an order will need approximately another 30 minutes for detailed measurements, fabric selection, and other steps. Orders may also be placed on the day.
Advance registration is required. Submitting the form does not confirm a reservation; an email sent later by the salon will indicate whether the reservation can be accepted and confirm the time.
Everyone who tries on a bra on the day will receive a body care item. Those who make a purchase that day will also receive complimentary name personalization on the label.
