Following Clear Black, introduced in March 2025, a lightly tinted brown joins the range. This is a mascara primer designed to hold the curl of eyelashes, rather than a hair spray. Kao Corporation announced it on October 26.
A sheer brown that can also be worn alone
The new Clear Brown shade is intended for natural-looking eye makeup. It can be worn alone or applied before mascara as a primer.
The comb applicator is designed for application from the roots to the tips of the lashes. The product features a waterproof formula resistant to sweat, water and humidity, as well as an oil-proof formula resistant to sebum. It contains olive oil as a lash-repairing beauty ingredient.
Let it dry before layering mascara
- Curl your lashes with an eyelash curler.
- Place the comb at the roots of your lashes and apply with an upward motion toward the tips.
- When using it as a primer, let it dry before applying your mascara.
The removal instructions recommend using an eye makeup remover.
