Chojyu no Sato Co., Ltd. announced this new product from its skincare brand SHIKARI on October 26. It was launched as an oil to use immediately after cleansing, before lotion and other skincare, rather than as a final layer.
99.5% moringa seed oil blended with essential-oil fragrance
The base is unheated, unrefined oil extracted from moringa grown in southern India. Moringa oleifera seed oil, an emollient ingredient, makes up 99.5%, with a blended aroma comprising the remaining 0.5%.
The fragrance is LIGHT GREEN. Juniperus virginiana oil and eucalyptus leaf oil are the main elements, combined with lavender oil, rosemary leaf oil and other fragrance oils.
According to the company, the oil undergoes 600 MPa ultra-high-pressure treatment through its proprietary Whole minimum process. It says the micronization aims to create a texture that spreads thinly and evenly over the skin.
After cleansing, pat away moisture and put 2–3 drops into your palm
The official product page gives the following instructions.
- After cleansing, gently pat moisture from your face.
- Dispense 2–3 drops of oil into your palm.
- Warm it lightly between both palms, then use your whole palms to smooth it from the center of your face outward. Avoid the eye and mouth areas.
- Follow with your usual skincare.
