CONC, a brand from Euglena Co., Ltd., is adding CONC Eye Boost Injection, a serum for the eye area. Announced on October 29, the new product uses the brand’s microneedle serum technology with an ingredient combination designed for the eye area.
A click-operated head for targeted areas around the eyes
The applicator has a click-operated microneedle head. It applies serum around the inner corners, under-eyes, outer corners, and eyebrows, with delivery designed to reach the stratum corneum. Its cloudy, cream-like texture provides moisture and firmness to the skin around the eyes.
The company says it has completed efficacy evaluation testing for making fine lines caused by dryness less noticeable.
A formula combining skin-conditioning and moisturizing ingredients
Ingredients include skin-conditioning alpha-arbutin and an ingredient group the company calls a “three-peptide complex.” The complex contains the skin-conditioning ingredients acetyl hexapeptide-8, palmitoyl tripeptide-5, and Dunaliella salina extract, plus the moisturizing ingredients sodium hyaluronate, panthenol, and dipeptide diaminobutyroyl benzylamide diacetate.
Other skin-conditioning ingredients include soy isoflavone liposomes containing soy isoflavones and lecithin, caffeine, passion fruit extract, and chlorella extract.
Use after toner, with approximately 13–15 clicks per day as a guide
Use after toner. The officially provided steps are as follows.
- Remove the cap and lightly press the tip of the container perpendicular to the skin in the desired areas around the eyes.
- Apply around the inner and outer corners, eyebrows, and between the eyebrows, using approximately 13–15 clicks per day as a guide.
- Massage any serum remaining on the skin into it with your fingers.
The general order is cleansing, pre-serum, toner, this product, serum, then emulsion or cream. The 2.5 mL size lasts approximately one month when used at about 13–15 clicks per day.
