LIXIL Corporation announced on Wednesday, October 14, 2026 that it has put the natural wood panel Aromaju on sale at LIXIL Store, its official online shop. The release date was Thursday, October 1. It is a product you hang on the wall to enjoy the wood grain and scent of domestic cedar.
The suggested price of the wood panel set is ¥24,800 (tax included), and the dedicated scent spray is ¥2,980 (tax included). The panels and the spray are sold separately, but buyers of the wood panels receive a sample of the scent liquid.
Aromaju is a natural wood panel with slits cut into domestic cedar
The material is domestic cedar, heat-treated to reduce warping. Evenly spaced slits are cut into the surface, creating a design in which thin lines run alongside the wood grain.
The company highlights that the shadows change with the angle of the light. It is a wall decoration for enjoying how its look shifts over the day, such as the fine lines made by morning light and the long shadows stretching at dusk.
Attach the wood panel with magnets, and spray the scent on the back
Installation uses the stapler included in the package. The system works by fixing a steel sheet to the wall and attaching the wood panel with magnets.
If you use the scent spray, spray once on the back of the wood panel. According to the company, it is designed so that the scent of cedar and the aroma spread slowly through the room via the fine pores of the natural wood.
