STAUB, a brand operated by Zwilling J.A. Henckels Japan Co., Ltd., will release Staub × Sanrio characters on Friday, October 30, 2026. Two Hello Kitty and Kuromi models join the lineup of the enameled cast iron pot Wa-NABE.
Hello Kitty comes as a 24 cm pot in Sorbet Rose, and Kuromi as a 20 cm pot in Black. Beyond the pattern on the lid, each design also carries its character motif in the knob at the center. The pots will be sold at the Zwilling official online store.
Sorbet Rose and Black lids with reliefs and dedicated knobs
The Wa-NABE Hello Kitty XL 24cm Sorbet Rose pairs a pale pink pot with a relief of Hello Kitty's face and ribbon. At the center of the lid is a three-dimensional ribbon knob made of stainless steel.

The Wa-NABE Kuromi L 20cm Black has a black lid with a relief of Kuromi and her sidekick Baku, the tapir. The center knob is shaped like a three-dimensional Kuromi, and both models use designs created for this collection.

Wa-NABE has a rounded pot base and projections on the underside of the lid
Wa-NABE is one of the Japonesque series, inspired by Japanese food culture. The company explains that the rounded pot base lets the cooking liquid convect easily and conducts heat evenly to the ingredients.
The underside of the lid has projections called "Chistera" that circulate moisture inside the pot. The company lists hot pot dishes, soups such as miso soup, and simmered dishes as uses. For these two models as well, the pot body is enameled cast iron and the knob is stainless steel.
They work on all heat sources, including induction (IH) and gas. They can be used in the oven up to 250°C, and both are made in France.
