These socks have been blessed at Nara Sugawara Tenmangu Shrine, which enshrines the deity of learning. The official product photo shows packaging with plum blossoms and wording about prayers for exam success, as well as a label indicating that stickers to cheer on exam success are included. The women’s product pictured is sized for 23–25 cm feet.
The design features ribbed knitting from the cuff down toward the ankle, with a different section at the ankle. Hands describes the product as using a special material with a focus on the Sanyinko point near the ankle.
