A long coat with a flowing pattern of overlapping greens, khakis and other colors. The new Bishu-ori Ryusui Art Pattern Coat from antiqua features an original pattern inspired by a work of art. antiqua Co., Ltd. announced it on Friday, October 23, 2026.
The flow of colors in art, expressed in Bishu fabric
The new pattern was developed by drawing an initial design from an artwork and testing yarn combinations and woven textures. The company says the overlapping colors and fluctuations are expressed as a “flowing-water art pattern.”

The coat is made in Japan using fabric woven in Bishu, an area spanning Aichi and Gifu known for wool textiles. The outer fabric is 100% wool and the lining is 100% polyester. Pattern placement varies from piece to piece.
Shaped lapels, an A-line silhouette and a total length of 122 cm
The shaped lapels change appearance depending on how the buttons are fastened. The A-line silhouette flares toward the hem, with pockets on both sides.

It comes in one color, Mix, and in Onesize. According to the official website’s flat measurements, total length is 122 cm, chest circumference below the armholes is 162 cm, shoulder width is 66 cm and sleeve length is 57 cm. Individual measurements may vary by ±3 cm.
The guidance cautions people with sensitive skin that wool may feel prickly against the skin. Colors and specifications may differ slightly between the photography sample and the actual product.
