The program focuses on the true faces, struggles, and "light and shadow" of celebrity women who seem to lead glamorous lives.
ABEMA "CELEB SECRET" Episode 5 Airs
"CELEB SECRET" follows 4 women: model Sachi Fujii, whose father is the former president of Louis Vuitton Japan; global influencer MONAKO; Lara, a current medical student who speaks 9 languages; and Ureshino-chan (Yumi Ureshino), who runs a medical beauty tourism business.
It is a documentary series that follows their glamorous lives on a grand scale.
The program's theme song is "Risk" by Gracie Abrams. The studio MCs are talent Rino Sashihara, actor Shinnosuke Mitsushima, Junki Kono of the global boy group JO1, and Kemuri Matsui of the comedy duo Reiwa Roman. It was Junki Kono's first solo MC challenge.
Sachi Fujii Confesses Her Inferiority Complex About Never Having a Solo Cover and Her Past Eating Disorder
Episode 5 followed Sachi Fujii, who has had a 14-year career as a model.
She candidly admitted how she feels about never having been on a solo cover of a fashion magazine: "I'm pretty frustrated. I wonder why I'm never chosen."

During her time at the magazine "Seventeen," she felt anxious about the success of her peers such as Suzu Hirose and Sae Okazaki, and looked back on those days, saying, "I used to think I wanted to be a girl like that when I was reborn."
Driven by the obsessive thought that "if I get thin and sharp, they'll call me for shoots," she says she carried out a harsh fast, taking only water for 5 days before a shoot. She eventually developed an eating disorder, repeatedly binge eating to drown out her anxiety and then feeling guilty, and she revealed the dark time in her teens when she gained 12 kg.

What Sachi Fujii says "changed my life and made my mindset truly positive" is her encounter with Pilates. She says exercise cleared the fog in her head, and studio MC Rino Sashihara showed her sympathy, saying, "I have the same (Pilates) teacher!"
Sachi Fujii spoke of her eagerness for her future career as a mother: "I want to go to shoots even after giving birth, so I want to build a solid foundation with Pilates and create a path to return to modeling."

Lara's Harrowing Experience of Bullying at an Elite Swiss School and How She Overcame It
Lara, who studied abroad at an elite Swiss boarding school said to cost about ¥30 million in annual tuition, revisited the school on the program.
During her school days, Asian princesses who saw Lara's Instagram mocked her, asking, "Did you buy your followers? Are your parents famous?" and ridiculed her attempts to start from zero.
It was also revealed that she was bullied harshly, such as being made to drink soapy water while gathered in a room. Afraid of the bullying, Lara says, "I made my world small" and "No matter what I did, I thought I was uncool, so I couldn't update my social media."

But she declared, "I realized that people who say bad things about me are not people who make my life better, right? So I stopped making myself small. I'm with people who make everything around me positive and whom I can respect."
Now she is shown surrounded by companions who inspire each other, such as friends who were accepted into highly selective American universities and a current high school student who runs businesses including shared housing.

Studio guest Emi Suzuki was amazed by Lara's powerful words, saying, "I want to show this to my daughter," and studio MC Rino Sashihara also praised her, saying, "All celebrities, all of humanity, look at Lara's way of life! (laughs)"
Kemuri Matsui shared his own view on the value of one's environment: "I thought, even if you paid 30 million yen, would that really happen? But I think the friends I'm close to now are a kind of relationship you can't get without paying that tuition."

JO1's Junki Kono and Emi Suzuki Share Celebrity Episodes
In the second half of the program, on the talk theme "What I do when I want to lift my mood," JO1's Junki Kono confessed to a unique way of relieving stress: "I play Bruno Mars alone at home and sing and dance like crazy," and "I don't like sweat getting on my clothes, so I do it naked... (laughs)."
Shinnosuke Mitsushima commented, "You're one of us, after all," and the studio burst into laughter.

In the program's regular "celebrity episode" corner, Kemuri Matsui of Reiwa Roman shared the story that when he won the M-1 Grand Prix, "a large amount of champagne from well-known companies arrived for my father (a vice president at a securities firm)."
Emi Suzuki also revealed for the first time the story behind a pinky ring with a large diamond that she bought to match Nana Eikura's: "It wasn't to commemorate anything, but she invited me, saying, 'Let's get matching ones.'"

In response, Shinnosuke Mitsushima sharply remarked, "It's a diamond, you know? It's not something you buy as casually as buying snacks together!" and the studio erupted in laughter.
