A New Korean Sensibility to Bring Into Your Life
The theme of "K-Archive vol.2" is to let visitors experience, in one place, the designs and ideas being born in Korea today, from living spaces to the care that keeps everyday life in order.
It introduces the minimal, refined design of Korean lifestyle brands, the functionality that solves small everyday inconveniences, and a sense of playfulness. It is a chance to encounter Korea's new lifestyle, which goes beyond fashion and K-beauty.
Brands for Fashion and Travel
WHATDINNER: A casual brand from Seoul that turns the everyday excitement of asking "What shall we have for dinner today?" into clothing. Based on workwear, it offers everyday clothes with playful checks and relaxed silhouettes, and this pop-up will present all 13 styles, from windbreakers to work caps.
BAMKEL: A travel gear brand that makes getting around on trips free and comfortable. Centered on durability backed by tests that assume extreme environments, it offers suitcases, backpacks, duffel and tote bags, sling bags and more. Combining tough construction, refined design and intuitive color play, it supports a wide range of travel situations, from business trips to weekend getaways and the outdoors.
YST.C: A premium fabric bag brand from Korea, inspired by the structure of cargo containers and their role of "storing and protecting things." Durability, storage efficiency and functionality are built into the design itself.
Items That Make Everyday Care More Pleasant
LASH SMASH: A beauty tech brand from Korea that turns the daily morning eyelash curling into a beautiful ritual. Its original heating structure warms up to a suitable 48 to 53°C in about 15 seconds, easily bringing out a beautiful curl that lasts. Combining Korea's precision craftsmanship with a clean, minimal K-beauty sensibility, it turns functional beauty devices into refined objects that look good on a dresser.
MEDES: A dental care brand that turns daily tooth brushing into care you can see. Its signature item, the "Chika Checker," is an oral care device for checking your brushing, which uses a dedicated light and filter to reveal plaque. It makes it easier to see the spots you missed and leads to a self-care habit that makes brushing at home more fun and easier to keep up.
Mo-on: A Korean lifestyle appliance brand that proposes a convenient and comfortable way of living. It is built on the idea that "good things add value to everyday life and improve it little by little," and it values ease of use, designs that blend into a space, and long-lasting products. Another hallmark of the brand is making products that reduce environmental impact and can be used for a long time regardless of trends.
Babion: A grooming brand that pursues precise cutting performance and ease of use by incorporating feedback from professional hairdressers and pet groomers. Centered on professional clippers, it offers a wide range of home beauty appliances, pet trimmers, scissors and care products. Its signature product, the BFG-01 callus remover, is a rechargeable cordless electric foot care device for caring for hardened and old skin on the heels and soles at home. It is regarded as one of the products that apply the motor technology Babion has developed in its clippers to home beauty devices.
Korean Flavors and Forms That Brighten the Table
MAH: A "Korean Flavor Booster" that does not just add heat to a dish but brings out the umami and richness of the ingredients. Just a few drops on your usual pizza, chicken, pasta, ramen or fried food gives it a Korean-style spicy, savory accent. It condenses the energy of the Seoul dinner table and Korea's spicy-savory food culture into a single bottle of sauce.
Foodle: A tableware brand that adds a natural touch of fun to the everyday table. Its signature item, "plate 05," is proposed as a dish for serving food and also as an object that reflects the sensibility of the person dining and the atmosphere of the space. It combines a restrained yet memorable presence with practicality for daily use.
NOBBAN: A tableware brand that offers the warmth of brass and bronzeware (yugi), traditional Korean materials, in a way that suits modern living. It sees bowls and trays not merely as tools but as everyday objects that gain character over time. Korean formal beauty and the calm texture of metal add quiet dignity to a space, from everyday meals to special occasions of hospitality.
Gadgets That Make Your Surroundings More Comfortable
MITER: A desk setup brand that carefully solves the small stresses you feel at your desk. Ideas that make you think "it would be nice to have," such as a Mac stand that rotates 360 degrees and a magnetic book stand that supports reading and work, are given shape through precise design. It makes your desk comfortable for both work and hobbies.
MAGNETO: A lifestyle brand that smartly changes everyday inconveniences with the power of magnets. Focusing on everyday issues such as opening, closing and holding doors and preventing collisions and pinching, it develops functional products that make use of magnet technology. It presents items such as a door stopper that can be installed without tools, offering new living solutions that combine safety, ease of use and refined design.
KIVIT: A Korean lifestyle gadget brand with the concept of putting "cute" into the things you carry every day. Its signature product, the "Love Fan," is a portable fan that combines a design that lifts your mood the moment you pick it up with enough airflow to keep you comfortable in the hot season. It turns an everyday practical item into a companion you want to spend the summer with.
Objects That Add Surprise and Light to a Space
- DCBA: A Korean lifestyle object brand born from the idea "ABCD, stay true to the basics. DCBA, flip your viewpoint and look again." It proposes items that look at everyday objects from a slightly different angle and add delicate, pleasant wit. Its signature item, the "Canelé Glow Mood Lamp," reinterprets a classic canelé-inspired form as a light that suits modern interiors. With three light color temperatures, three brightness levels and up to 15 hours of wireless use, it adds a soft mood and small delights to a space.
A New Shopping Experience: From Trying to Buying to Delivery at Home
At this event, you can pick up the displayed products and check their design, size, texture and feel. When you want to buy, you access the online site from your smartphone and complete the payment.
Purchased products are delivered to your specified address later, so there is no need to take them home from the venue. It is a shopping experience in which you can enjoy discovering products with a light step, without worrying about carrying bags on your way home from work or in the middle of shopping.
The pop-up runs only until Monday, July 27, but the products introduced at the venue can be purchased on the online site until Friday, August 24.
