DECENCIA Inc. (headquartered in Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo) ran an experience project in June 2026 under the theme "Even with sensitive skin, I don't want to give up on vitamin C brightening."
In this project, 92 members of the online community "Usuhada Tomo no Kai," a gathering of people with thin, delicate skin, tried DECENCIA's new brightening series "DECENCIA White" and answered a survey about their attitudes toward brightening care and their impressions after use.
Brightening care attitudes of sensitive skin revealed by the joint survey with "Usuhada Tomo no Kai"
The administrator of "Usuhada Tomo no Kai" points out that quite a few people hesitate to use vitamin C products because they think they "will sting," "will turn red," or "will be too harsh for thin skin."
The survey found that about 97% of respondents have sensitive skin or skin that easily fluctuates with the seasons and physical condition. Before use, many voiced concerns such as "vitamin C stings or turns the skin red" and "brightening care seems harsh."

In response to these voices, DECENCIA Inc. provided the "DECENCIA White Trial Set" and created an opportunity to try the products in real life.
Trial results of the "DECENCIA White" series and users' comments
Many members gave positive feedback after trying it.
Comments on the feel of use include "Aggressive care often made my skin tingle or didn't suit me, but this was comfortable even for sensitive skin," and "Layering the lotion twice was not a problem at all, and it had a cooling sensation."

Its suitability for daily use was also praised: "It doesn't get in the way of morning makeup yet moisturizes well, so personally it's a cream I want to use in the morning."
On the other hand, points to improve and requests were also raised, such as "The moisturizing is a little lacking for very dry skin," "It's a bit expensive to use the whole line," and "It's hard to feel a brightening effect in 10 days."

Ichi, the administrator of "Usuhada Tomo no Kai," said, "I felt as if I could experience for myself what 'aggressive brightening for sensitive skin' means."
The "DECENCIA White" series, focused on a new perspective on brightening mechanics
The "DECENCIA White" series used in this project was released on March 10, 2026. The series focuses on a new perspective on brightening mechanics*2: "Can the skin catch vitamin C in full?"
Through many years of research, the company says it found that not only aging and UV rays but also "stress" make it harder for the brightening active ingredient, a vitamin C derivative*1, to reach the skin.
DECENCIA focuses on the "vitamin C transporter (SVCT)," which is involved in the skin's ability to catch vitamin C, and aims to condition the skin so that it can properly catch the ingredient's action.

*1 Ascorbic acid 2-glucoside (active ingredient)
*2 A theory focusing on the skin's potential regarding "the skin's mechanism that creates translucency"
*3 Suppressing melanin production and preventing spots and freckles
Details about the series can be found on the DECENCIA White details page.
