From August 12, 2026, the Korean culture pop-up event "Okawari Shumatsu KOREA Hapuru FES in KYOTO" will be held at JR Kyoto Isetan.
As the second edition of "Shumatsu KOREA Hapuru FES in OSAKA," which was held for the first time at Grand Green Osaka in July and drew about 10,000 visitors, popular Korean brands will gather.
The event that was a hit in Osaka comes to Kyoto
"Shumatsu KOREA Hapuru FES in OSAKA," a real-life pop-up event born from MBS's Korea travel program "Shumatsu KOREA," was held for the first time at Grand Green Osaka in July 2026.
The event drew about 10,000 visitors over two days and received a big response.
Following that popularity, the spin-off event "Okawari Shumatsu KOREA Hapuru FES in KYOTO" will be held at JR Kyoto Isetan from Wednesday, August 12 to Tuesday, August 25, 2026.
"Hapuru" (= HOT PLACE) in the event name is a Korean trend word meaning "the place getting the most attention right now."
At this pop-up event, the Korean fashion, beauty and lifestyle brands that were popular at the Osaka venue will appear once again.
Centered on items that sold out thanks to their popularity, it offers a chance to enjoy them even for those who missed out at the Osaka venue.

The roulette game that was a hit at the Osaka venue will also appear at the Kyoto venue.
From Wednesday, August 12 to Tuesday, August 18, for every ¥3,000 (tax included) you spend on Hapuru FES products at the 3rd- or 5th-floor venue, you can play the roulette game once.
