Nagoya Sakae Mitsukoshi will carry out its autumn renewal in stages from Wednesday, August 19, 2026. New shops will open and existing shops will reopen after a refresh on four floors in total: the 1st, 2nd, 5th and 6th floors.
The renewal brings a wide range of stores, including cafés, cosmetics, jewelry and fashion, among them five shops opening in the Tokai region for the first time.
Background to the renewal that brings new energy to the Sakae area
Nagoya Sakae Mitsukoshi is looking ahead to the revitalization of the Sakae area through the opening of new commercial facilities and office buildings, as well as the growing number of visitors from Japan and abroad that major international sporting events will bring.
The aim is to offer new appeal to local residents, Sakae business people and visitors to Japan.

KIHACHI Café, the first café in the Tokai region, opens on the 6th floor
On Friday, August 28, 2026, KIHACHI Café, whose concept is "always bringing the real thing close to you," will open on the 6th floor as the only café in the Tokai region.
It will serve fragrant coffee and tea, sweets made with seasonal ingredients, and food dishes inspired by cuisines from around the world, creating a relaxing space for a break from shopping or time in Sakae.
The evolution of the 1st-floor cosmetics, watch and jewelry floor
On the 1st floor, under the theme of encountering "quality that is truly your own," new brands will be introduced and shops renewed.
