"Wonjungyo Hair," a hair care line supervised by makeup artist Won Jung-yo, will launch its new product "Wonjungyo Repair Essence Hair Oil" nationwide on Wednesday, October 14, 2026.
The price is ¥1,650 (tax included) for 78 mL.
This hair oil arrives as a repairing hair oil that takes a multifunctional approach to the inside and outside of damaged hair to lead it to shiny hair.
Ahead of the launch, a limited-time collaboration menu with the shampoo and blow-dry specialty shop "Jet Set" will also be offered.
Wonjungyo Hair's first leave-in treatment hair oil
"Wonjungyo Repair Essence Hair Oil" was developed to pursue moist hydration while keeping down the stickiness and heaviness typical of hair oils.
With carefully selected ingredients that reach the core of the hair, it proposes a hair care habit that "grows shine" (*1) rather than "adding shine."
A multi-angle approach with the triple repair formula
This product uses a triple repair formula to work on the inside and outside of damaged hair.
Internal repair
It contains three types of ceramides (*2), which are CMC-like ingredients, and cholesterol (*3) to moisturize the inside of the hair and repair damage. It also contains an adsorptive repair ingredient (*4) that softens coarse hair and leads it to a more manageable state.Moisture retention
The rich texture clings to each strand of hair and forms an even veil of moisture. This makes it harder for moisture to escape and keeps hair feeling moist. Two moisturizing ingredients (tremella polysaccharide and ectoin) (*3) are designed to hydrate hair and care for dryness.Shine protection
A shine-coating ingredient (*5) forms a smooth oil veil down to the ends and gives an elegant shine. With Abyssinian oil (*6), it aims for hair with shine and manageability while keeping down stickiness.
Protection from heat damage and a light finish
It also contains a heat protect ingredient (*7) that protects the hair surface from the heat of hair dryers and flat irons. This is expected to prevent heat damage and, through the surface coating, to reduce hair puffing caused by humidity.
It also contains a close-adhering protect ingredient that includes Palmitoyl Dipeptide-18 (a hair-repairing ingredient).
It protects hair from outside stimuli such as daytime sunlight, dryness and friction, and by giving body and resilience, it leads to a supple, springy texture.
Despite its rich texture, it features a light finish that is not sticky even when layered.
The Sparkling Pear scent is a fruity fragrance, the same as the moist type shampoo and treatment of "Wonjungyo Hair."
How to use and where to buy
The product can be used as a pre-dry care by working it into towel-dried hair, as a post-dry care by working a small amount into dry hair to add shine and manageability, and as a daytime care when you are concerned about dryness or friction.
