OPERA, a cosmetics brand run by iMMU Co., Ltd., will release "106 Cinnamon Brown," an autumn limited color of its "Sheer Matte Lipstick," on Wednesday, September 30, 2026. The price is ¥1,980 (tax included).
This time the theme is "NUDE KISS." The company calls it "mucosal brown," a deep brown with a warm touch of red combined with a "see-through, fluffy nude texture."
A proprietary "powder-less formula" that melts color into a moisturizing film
According to the company, the "Sheer Matte Lipstick" is a lipstick with a texture between glossy and matte, with color melted into a "moisturizing film" that feels like frosted glass. Instead of making a fully matte finish with the powders used to remove shine, it blends lip care ingredients chosen for their low gloss, which is the proprietary "powder-less formula." It says that when applied to the lips, it blends in moistly and tints them sheer.
It says the moisturizing film clings to the lips, so the finish continues without smudging or peeling becoming a concern. It also says it blends in even when reapplied after some time. It claims that its softly blurring effect subtly covers vertical lip lines as well.
A clean formula based on plant-derived squalane from sugarcane
The main ingredient is plant-derived squalane oil (a moisturizing ingredient) from sugarcane. The company says it selects materials with consideration for environmental impact, noting that the manufacturing process reduces CO2. It is a clean formula (*1) that is paraben-free (*2), free of animal-derived ingredients (*3) and fragrance-free.
