The company announced the news on October 2.
The product is a limited kit combining a shampoo and a hair treatment, with a suggested retail price of ¥3,410 (tax included). The release does not state a release date, and depending on stock availability, the start date may vary by store (or region).
A Don Quijote-exclusive Kuromi design that stresses cuteness and coolness
The kit comes in a special design package exclusive to Don Quijote. The company says the design is packed with Kuromi's cuteness and coolness, and suggests a bath time spent with a different side of Kuromi than usual.
A limited kit pairing shampoo and hair treatment with a Thalasso CBD formula
The kit contains two items: "8 THE THALASSO u CBD & Refreshing Cleanse Serum Shampoo Kuromi" (475mL) and "8 THE THALASSO u CBD & Balancing Damage Repair Serum Hair Treatment Kuromi" (475mL).
The company says the Thalasso CBD formula (cannabidiol, a moisturizing ingredient) is designed to keep hair and scalp moist. It contains marine-derived moisturizing ingredients such as deep sea water (seawater, a moisturizing ingredient) and seaweed extract (Porphyra yezoensis extract, a moisturizing ingredient), and promises "smooth, glossy hair."
The marine-derived moisturizing ingredients it lists are seawater, water-soluble collagen, Porphyra yezoensis extract, chitosan succinamide, sea silt, hydrolyzed conchiolin and squalane.
