HENRY JACQUES, run by Henry Jacques Japan Co., Ltd., will hold "La Maison Éphémère," which brings the world of its flagship store on Avenue Montaigne in Paris to locations around the globe, at The Stage on the 1st floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Main Building from Wednesday, October 7 to Tuesday, October 13, 2026.
The company says that in a space that feels like being invited into a Parisian mansion, visitors can enjoy conversation while experiencing the house's collection and find a fragrance that suits them.
A space evoking Haussmann style, and conversation at the perfume bar
The venue is built on the concept of the comfort of relaxing in a living room. The mansion in Paris is said to be expressed through architecture reminiscent of Haussmann style, a Versailles-style parquet floor and a French-style garden.
At the perfume bar, visitors can touch fragrance ingredients and experience the traditional savoir-faire that the house has inherited. Perfume experts talk with visitors about their memories, tastes, daily habits and lifestyles, and propose a "fragrance wardrobe."
Isetan Shinjuku special "Sa Majesté Yuzu" and the advance release of Les Toupies
To commemorate the opening, the Isetan Shinjuku special "Sa Majesté Yuzu" goes on sale on Wednesday, October 7. This perfume was born from an encounter with a yuzu grower in Kochi Prefecture and uses yuzu essence and an extract made by the cold-press method.
The scent belongs to the Hesperidia/Floral category. The top notes are yuzu essence (Japan), cold-pressed yuzu (Japan), clary sage and lemon. The middle notes are rose, black tea and lemon petitgrain. The base notes are sandalwood, musk and vanilla.
"Les Toupies" is the house's masterpiece collection. Bottles shaped like spinning tops, "Mrs.Y" and "Mr.H," making their debut in Japan, will be released in advance at Isetan Shinjuku on Wednesday, October 7.
