"espoir," a makeup brand from Korea run by Amorepacific Japan Co., Ltd., will hold the experiential event "Easy Professional Beauty -espoir Base Makeup Studio-" from Friday, October 2 to Thursday, October 15, 2026 at the Mazaka Stage on the 1st floor of Shibuya Loft.
It is a venue where you can try base makeup items, starting with the new BB cream "Derma Cover Blemish Balm," released on September 11. The company says it will be a place to find items that suit you through a skin tone diagnosis.
A venue modeled on a photo-shoot makeup studio, and a skin tone diagnosis
The venue is a space styled after a makeup studio on a photo shoot. The photo zone has a makeup station that recreates the scene of a model finishing her makeup before a shoot. There is also a self-touch and try zone where you can try the new products.
In the skin tone diagnosis, a diagnostic device used at the flagship shop in Yeongnam, Korea, suggests tones for base items and color items. For the diagnosis, part of the cheek is cleansed for measurement. Depending on how crowded it is, guidance may be paused temporarily.
Visitor gifts, purchase gifts and a social media posting campaign
Every visitor receives a sachet (1 mL) of the UV primer "Water Splash Sun Cream Ceramide." Follow the official Instagram (@espoir_jp_official) or X (@espoir_japan) and post a photo of the venue with "#Esupoa" to get an original sticker.
There are two kinds of purchase gifts. If you buy the "Derma Cover Blemish Balm" or a qualifying cushion foundation, you get either a "Makeup Bonding Primer Mini" or a "Derma Cover Blemish Balm Mini" at random. If you buy ¥5,500 (tax included) or more of espoir products, you get a Skin Layer Cushion pouch.
All gifts are limited in quantity and end when gone. One per purchase, and the gift contents may change without notice.
Guest appearances and venue-exclusive items
On Saturday, October 3, from 13:00 to 16:00, beauty creator Nana will visit. Slots to talk with her directly are by advance reservation, and reservations open at 20:00 on Thursday, September 24. Even without a reservation, answering a survey at the venue earns you a dedicated brush (not for sale) for the "Pro Bonding Primer," in limited quantity.
On Saturday, October 10, hair and makeup artist GENSEI will appear. He will give a makeup show on the theme of "creating a glowy base makeup" with the "Derma Cover Blemish Balm," twice, at 11:30-12:00 and 14:15-14:45. The touch-up service from 15:00 to 17:00 is by advance reservation, about 15 minutes per person. Reservations are planned to open at 20:00 on Thursday, October 1.
There are also products exclusive to the venue and the official online store. "Be Glow Foundation" comes in 3 shades at ¥3,630 (tax included) each, and "Blur Wear Blush" in 4 shades at ¥2,420 (tax included) each.

The "Derma Cover Blemish Balm" is a BB cream that combines the functions of sunscreen, makeup base and foundation. It comes in three ash-toned shades, with a green color added to correct redness.
