NATURE REPUBLIC Japan Co., Ltd. will release Universe Lip Tattoo, a peel-off lip tint, on Monday, October 19, 2026, and Honey Melting Lip Mask, a lip mask, on Monday, November 9, 2026. It announced the news on October 7.
The tint will go on sale in stages at Don Quijote group stores, APITA and PIAGO, and the lip mask at Don Quijote group stores. With some exceptions, availability may differ by store.
Universe Lip Tattoo: A Peel-Off Tint in 4 Shades
Universe Lip Tattoo is a product that brings today's trending ingredients to the peel-off lip tint that was popular in the early 2000s. According to the company, it looks vivid right after application, then shows a natural color once peeled off, and is designed to resist fading and transferring.
It contains collagen and peptides; the collagens are moisturizing ingredients and the peptides are skin-conditioning ingredients. It uses a teardrop-shaped silicone tip, and the company says it can be used for overlining or for full lips.
It comes in four shades: 01 Mercury Red (a star-role red), 02 Jupiter Amber (orange brown), 03 Mars Magenta (ruby pink) and 04 Neptune Violet (purple).
Honey Melting Lip Mask Focuses on Moisture
Honey Melting Lip Mask is a lip mask with a texture like melting honey. According to the company, it developed a product focused on moisture because it received many requests in South Korea for a clear-type version of Honey Melting Lip.
In addition to honey extract, shea butter and seven plant oils, it contains Ceramide NP and sugar maple extract (maple sugar extract), which the company says care for the stratum corneum smoothly (*). Besides serving as a moisturizing balm for night care, it can also be used as a lip base or a gloss coat.
