La Casta, the natural cosmetics brand run by Alpen Rose Co., Ltd., released two types of scalp toner from its Aroma Esthe series, "Balancing Scalp Lotion" and "Gentle Scalp Lotion," nationwide on Wednesday, October 7, 2026. The company announced it the same day.
Sizes are 120ml for Balancing and 100ml for Gentle, both priced at ¥3,850 (tax included). Refills cost ¥3,300 (tax included) and hold 110ml and 90ml, respectively.
Cooling "Balancing" and low-alcohol "Gentle"
"Balancing Scalp Lotion" is a refreshing lotion containing "L-SC Complex" (a scalp-protecting ingredient) that keeps the scalp healthy, along with tea leaf extract. The company highlights its pleasantly cooling feel that leaves the scalp feeling refreshed.
"Gentle Scalp Lotion" is a low-alcohol type that contains, in addition to L-SC Complex, Japanese apricot fruit extract, which moisturizes and conditions. The company explains that it is designed to be usable even on sensitive scalps after coloring or during seasonal changes.
"L-SC Complex," common to both types
L-SC Complex is La Casta's original blend of plant-derived ingredients and is considered a scalp-protecting ingredient. The company positions it as an ingredient that approaches scalp concerns and daytime damage from multiple angles, and says that by moisturizing the scalp it helps maintain a fresh scalp environment.
Scalp counseling sessions at directly operated stores until October 20
La Casta designated October 10 as "Scalp Care Day," which was certified by the Japan Anniversary Association in 2023. In line with this, "SCALP Care Days" is being held at directly operated stores nationwide from Wednesday, October 7 to Tuesday, October 20. Scalp counseling sessions using a microscope will be held.
During the period, customers who purchase eligible scalp care items receive 10 La Casta points. Eligible items include the two new types as well as "Aroma Esthe Scalp Cleansing Refine," "Aroma Revita Warming Scalp Cleanse," "Aroma Revita Advanced Scalp Treatment" and the "Head Spa Bath Time Brush." This is available only at directly operated stores.
