On October 7, Maruman H&B Co., Ltd. announced that it will release the "Pureal Conditioning Skincare Series" from its cosmetics brand Pureal in stages nationwide starting Monday, October 19, 2026. Three products (a toner, a serum and a cream) go on sale at the same time.
The company says it developed the series with the concept of gently supporting skin that becomes unsettled by dryness or seasonal changes. The series draws on the fermentation know-how the brand has built with its sheet masks.
Two fermentation-derived ingredients shared across the whole series
The shared ingredients are Galactomyces ferment filtrate (a skin-conditioning and moisturizing ingredient), which is also in the brand's "Clear Lipo Essence Mask" sheet mask, and the newly adopted Saccharomyces/barley seed ferment extract (a skin-conditioning ingredient). The company proposes "fermentation beauty," which brings these two into daily skincare.
Galactomyces ferment filtrate is obtained by fermenting and culturing a type of natural yeast, and the company says it moisturizes the skin and conditions it to be firm and radiant. Saccharomyces/barley seed ferment extract is obtained by fermenting barley seeds with yeast, and the company explains that it cares for the stratum corneum while conditioning the skin to be smooth.
Three products in a three-step approach: "condition, support, keep"
According to the company, the three products follow a three-step design: the toner conditions the foundation of the skin, the serum supports the skin environment, and the cream keeps in moisture. They use a fresh, light texture that is said to feel less heavy even when layered.
The toner, "Pureal Reset Water," contains five types of hyaluronic acid (moisturizing ingredients).
The serum, "Pureal Recovery Serum," contains 10 fermented ingredients (skin-conditioning ingredients) in addition to the two shared ones. The company says these ingredients blend into the stratum corneum.
The cream, "Pureal Keep Cream," contains five types of human-type ceramides (moisturizing ingredients). In addition to 50g, an 80g size exclusive to the official online site is also available.
A six-free formula, and the tests conducted
The formula is six-free: it uses no glycerin, no alcohol (ethanol), no parabens, no synthetic fragrance and no petroleum-based surfactants, and it is free of coloring. Patch tests, low-irritation tests and non-comedogenic tests have been completed, but the company notes that this does not mean skin problems or acne will not occur in everyone.
