On October 7, Food Cosme Co., Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of IK Holdings Co., Ltd., announced that it has signed an exclusive Japan distribution agreement for the Korea-born vegan lifestyle brand "ANILLO." Starting Friday, October 16, 2026, it will be sold at the stores and WEB STORE of Cosme Kitchen and Biople, operated by Mash Beauty Lab Inc.
This is the first time ANILLO is carried at Cosme Kitchen. In addition to three hair essences, two sets available only at Cosme Kitchen will be offered.
A brand name meaning "ring," proposing self-care for shower time
ANILLO is a Korea-born vegan self-care brand created from the idea of "turning everyday shower time into self-care time to look after yourself." The brand name means "ring" or "circle" in Spanish, and is said to symbolize "fulfillment," "completeness" and "stability."
According to the company, its features are vegan formulas centered on naturally derived ingredients, no animal testing, minimal packaging that is kind to the environment, and scents that shift like a perfume.
Three hair essences chosen by scent, each 50mL at ¥2,475 (tax included)
"Patchouli Garden Damage Hair Essence" (hair serum) contains patchouli oil (fragrance) and green herbs, and seven plant-derived oils are said to give damaged hair shine and moisture. While protecting hair from heat damage, a fresh citrus-herb scent spreads.
"Neroli Wood Glow Hair Essence" (hair serum) contains bitter orange flower oil (fragrance, conditioning agent, solvent) and more. It is designed so that sea buckthorn-derived oil and others keep moisture all the way to the ends, giving natural shine and smooth manageability.
"Black Tea Nourishing Hair Essence" (hair serum) contains tea leaf oil (conditioning agent), which blends into the hair and lends a faint black tea scent. Its feature is a light, non-sticky oil texture.
The usage is the same for all three: take an appropriate amount, focusing on the ends, and work it through the whole head of hair. It can be used on both wet and dry hair.
Sets sold only at Cosme Kitchen: a winter kit and a hair & lip care set
The "Amber 528 Body & Hand Care Set" (¥6,930 (tax included)) is a winter-limited body and hand care kit. With a woody citrus scent, it combines "Amber 528 Hand & Body Wash" (450mL) and "Amber 528 Hand Cream" (50mL). The wash is mildly acidic and contains a yuzu-derived ingredient and plant-derived cleansing ingredients. The hand cream blends a yuzu-derived ingredient with plant-derived oils and contains shea butter and ceramide (both conditioning agents).
The press release also lists a hand-sized "Classic Hair Comb" (with pouch), but it gives no price or availability.
The "Hair & Lip Care Set" (¥4,510 (tax included)) is a limited-quantity self-care kit. It combines "Rosy Night Repair Hair Essence" (50mL, musk floral scent) with "Mellow Glow Balm" (5g), a multi-glow balm for lips and skin where dryness is a concern. The hair essence is said to protect hair from heat damage while giving natural shine with a light, non-sticky texture. The balm is layered over lips and skin to care for dryness, adding moisture and a faint dewy glow.
