DIOR, operated by Parfums Christian Dior Japon K.K., will release the holiday-limited "J'adore Music Box" in advance on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at the DIOR official online store and boutiques. It goes on sale at participating stores from Friday, October 16. Both releases are in limited quantities.
The music box incorporates "J'adore L'Eau" (50mL). The price is ¥154,000 (tax included), or ¥140,000 before tax.
A gingerbread atelier inspired by 30 Avenue Montaigne in Paris
The music box is a long-running DIOR tradition. According to the company, this year's design takes on a new look inspired by 30 Avenue Montaigne in Paris, and opening the door reveals a gingerbread atelier sparkling with sugar powder.
This year's holiday theme is "Dior Sweet Atelier of Dreams." The company presents a story in which opening the doors of the maison reveals a dreamlike world of sweets, and proposes a holiday full of sweet playfulness. The sight of sugar powder swirling and gingerbread lined up is the motif of this box.
To a soft melody, the miniature atelier moves and rotates around the J'adore L'Eau bottle
When a soft melody plays, the miniature sweets atelier begins to move and rotates around the "J'adore L'Eau" fragrance bottle. The bottle placed at the center of the stage has a gleaming gold design, and the company says it creates a moment in which the art of fragrance and the art of music become one.
The "J'adore L'Eau" inside has a scent of orange blossom bathed in sunlight, layered with smooth rose and jasmine. The company describes it as a rich, mellow fragrance.
Advance release at the official online store and boutiques; at participating stores from October 16
The advance release on Wednesday, October 14 is available at the DIOR official online store and boutiques. From Friday, October 16, it goes on sale at the participating stores listed below. Both are in limited quantities.
Participating stores include the DIOR Beauty locations in Ginza, Omotesando, Shibuya and Marunouchi, as well as department stores such as Isetan Shinjuku and Nihonbashi Takashimaya. Department stores in Sapporo, Sendai, Nagoya, Kyoto, Osaka, Kobe, Hiroshima and Fukuoka are also included. The full list of stores is below.
