It is a wash-off product added to the series that carries on the botanical recipe of the long-selling moisturizing cream "Skin Food." The company says it gently washes the skin while leaving it moist and moisturized.
Skin Food Shower Cream has a texture like washing with cream
According to the company, it is designed to contain plenty of the moisturizing ingredient organic sunflower seed oil (an emollient ingredient), aiming for a smooth finish that feels like washing the skin with cream. The texture is rich and creamy. The scent is a sweet, gentle herbal fragrance.
The product features the company lists are gentle cleansing while protecting the skin's moisture, and preventing rough skin caused by dryness to keep skin healthy. It says it washes while keeping skin moist and moisturized even in seasons when dryness and rough skin are a concern.

At the core of the series is WELEDA's traditional herbal recipe combining pansy, chamomile, calendula and rosemary. Skin Food started to be made in 1926, and it is said to be a recipe handed down for over 100 years.
According to the company, this combination of four plants moisturizes the skin while preventing rough skin caused by dryness and keeping it healthy.
