The Korea-born cosmetics brand "rom&nd" will release its Japan-exclusive collection "BROWN & BLACK EDITION" on Friday, October 16, 2026 (*1) exclusively at Don Quijote group stores nationwide (*2). It was announced on October 8.
According to Korea Koryo Insam Co., Ltd., it is a collection that lets you choose between two contrasting moods, the soft and lovable BROWN and the cool, ennui-tinged BLACK, to suit your mood and outfit of the day. It is the second installment of the "BLACK EDITION" that debuted last December, adding soft brown shades to the deep black-toned colors, for a lineup of six items in total: eye palettes, tints and glosses.

Two makeup looks for autumn and winter outfits, expressed by mumei
Looking ahead to the season when autumn and winter outfits such as knitwear and coats become fun, the company proposes two makeup looks to choose from to suit your outfit and mood, with the warm BROWN and the deep BLACK. The image model is mumei, an influencer active mainly on social media.
With BROWN she wears a soft, lovable, blissfully happy makeup look, and with BLACK a cool, ennui-tinged, sheer makeup look, expressing two contrasting faces that can be enjoyed in one collection, the company says.
BROWN EDITION: three items, from beige brown to deep brown
The "BROWN EDITION" is a newly added series with warm colors ranging from soft beige brown to deep brown. By unifying the eyes and lips in brown, it creates a gentle, favorable, blissfully happy makeup look, the company says.
The "Better Than Palette" D01 Shade & Shadow Garden is a palette of 10 matte colors that create warm shading, from soft beige to deep brown.
The "The Juicy Lasting Tint" D01 Tan Coco is a coconut brown like a soft sun tan, and the company says it colors lips with a sheer shine like sugar coating. The "Glasting Color Gloss" D01 Red Bean Tteok is a deep brown like sweetly simmered red bean paste, creating a voluminous angel-ring shine.
BLACK EDITION: three items in black pink and purple tones
The "BLACK EDITION," now in its "second installment," features black pink and purple-toned colors. By layering gorgeous glitter and shine, it adds depth to the eyes and lips and creates a sheer, ennui-tinged makeup look that draws the eye, the company says.
The "Better Than Palette" D02 Black Pansy Garden is a 10-color palette combining a deeply captivating black pink with gorgeously sparkling glitter. It lets you enjoy a variety of finishes, from matte to glitter, the company says.
The "The Juicy Lasting Tint" D02 Black Sapphire is a purple mauve with the depth of a black sapphire, finishing lips with a sheer-looking shine. The "Glasting Color Gloss" D02 Sweet Potato Tteok is a purple brown like steamed sweet potato, creating a plump, voluminous shine.
