Korea Ginseng Corp. Japan announced on October 9, 2026 that it will launch "rom&nd UFO Cover Cushion" from the Korean cosmetics brand "rom&nd" in Japan. It will go on advance sale from Monday, October 19, exclusively at Don Quijote group stores nationwide, and is scheduled to roll out gradually from around mid-November at variety shops and other retailers nationwide (*2, *3).
It is a cushion foundation available in 3 shades, with a net content of 15 g and a price of ¥2,970 (tax included). The UV protection is SPF40 / PA++.
A design with fine particles for both coverage and a light feel
The brand says it reviewed its particle design in response to the wish to cover areas of concern while avoiding a heavy, cakey look. It is designed with densely packed fine particles about 1/5 the size (*4) of those in its previous products, forming a thin, even layer on the skin's surface.
According to the company, it is designed to cling to pores and uneven skin, covering redness and uneven color (*1). It is a semi-matte type with a light feel that is less likely to look cakey even when layered.
As for how long makeup lasts, the company says it conducted a 24-hour makeup wear test (*5).

Two dedicated puffs are included. They have a double-layer, stretchy band. The company describes this as a design that fits snugly on the hand.
The case has a round, UFO-like shape in metallic silver and is about 23 mm thick. You hold both ends and open the lid upward.
Three shades: Light, Natural and Beige
The three shades are "19N# Light," "21N# Natural" and "23N# Beige." The brand describes them respectively as a bright natural ivory, a neutral ivory that blends in naturally, and a calm, soft beige.
