Hankyu Hanshin Department Stores, Inc. will open a salon boutique for "SCHIAPARELLI" in the HANKYU LUXURY international boutiques on the 6th floor of Hankyu Umeda Main Store on Saturday, October 17, 2026.
To mark the opening, the store will present a selection of the brand's signature "Iconics" alongside the Fall/Winter 2026 collection.
A space created by Rosebery and Halleroed
The new salon boutique was designed in collaboration between creative director Daniel Roseberry and the Swedish architecture studio "Halleroed." The company describes it as a space that expresses the Surrealist spirit living on at 21 Place Vendôme in Paris.
Dresses, bags and items with trompe-l'oeil motifs
The "Luster Dress" is made of laminated pleated satin and tailored with an asymmetric spiral cut. The "Creature Minaudière" is a hard clutch in gold metal shaped like a snake.
The "Giraffe Jacket" is a short, fitted jacket with a high collar and jeweled buttons. The burgundy shoulder bag "Small Soufflé Bag" has a gold-tone metal peacock on its handle.
The black-and-white "Handprint Cardigan" is decorated with a hand motif done in trompe-l'oeil (optical illusion) style. The "Eyes Hoop Earrings" combine enamel eye motifs with rhinestone decoration.
The "Greenwich Village Jacket" is a cropped raw-denim jacket with tobacco-colored topstitching. The "Articulated Finger Ring" is a trompe-l'oeil ring shaped like a finger, adorned with a nail piercing.
