discord Yohji Yamamoto, from Yohji Yamamoto Inc., will release new bags from its 2026-27 Autumn/Winter collection in stages starting Friday, October 16, 2026. The lineup includes two new styles that add shape changes to the classic "TULIPS" and "PUFF," as well as a new color, Gunmetal.
The new styles are the "TULIPS WIDE SHOULDER" and the "TRIANGLE PUFF SHOULDER." The company explains that this season it narrowed down its design elements and built the collection by combining existing ones.
TULIPS gets a wider gusset, and PUFF becomes an inverted triangle
The "TULIPS WIDE SHOULDER" is based on the classic "TULIPS" with a wider bottom gusset. Leather is used from the gusset, whose three sides are balanced differently, up the sides, adding a soft drape to the linear shape. The price is ¥198,000 (tax included).
It can be carried on the shoulder as a shoulder bag or held as a tote bag. The company highlights that a different silhouette appears depending on how it is carried.
The "TRIANGLE PUFF SHOULDER" transforms the "PUFF" into an inverted-triangle silhouette and costs ¥154,000 (tax included). According to the company, it is designed so that carrying it with the inner pocket horizontal brings out its original form, and a natural drape forms when it is lifted.
New color Gunmetal for the classic TULIPS and INFINITE
In addition to the two new styles, a new color, Gunmetal, joins the classic bags. It applies to three models: the "TULIPS," "INFINITE" and "INFINITE (S)." Alongside the new bag styles, the collection also introduces change through color.
The "TULIPS" is ¥154,000 (tax included), the "INFINITE" is ¥132,000 (tax included), and the "INFINITE (S)" is ¥165,000 (tax included). The visuals released this time also show the shapes of the bags in the new color, and how they look when held in the hand and when carried on the shoulder.
