Christian Dior K.K. announced new "Dior Bow" shoes on Friday, October 9, 2026. In the Cruise 2027 Collection, the design centers on a ribbon motif, combined with color pairings, materials, and prints.
The new sandals will be available at Dior boutiques nationwide and on the official online boutique. Of the three models revealed, the orchid and off-white and the black and white color combinations are scheduled for release on Thursday, October 15, and the "Newspaper" print on Thursday, November 12.
A ribbon at the front, and silhouettes that vary with heel height
Designed by Jonathan Anderson, "Dior Bow" is a shoe with a ribbon at the front of the sandal. The line comes in two colors, black and powder pink, with flat shoes as well as three models with different heel heights.
The company explains that the height of the heel creates differences in proportion. While all share the common motif of a ribbon at the front, the silhouette varies from model to model.
The Cruise Collection brings in color pairings, flowers, and prints
The Cruise 2027 Collection incorporates handmade fabric flowers into the design. The color combinations are orchid and off-white, black and white, and green and pink. The company says it expressed volume and texture in combination with color.
The piping that outlines the shape was inspired by men's shirts. The new pieces also use the house's signature motifs, such as tweed and the "Newspaper" print.
The orchid and off-white sandals combine a ribbon and piping in different colors. The black and white model also carries its color scheme from the ribbon at the front through the opening to the strap at the heel.
The "Newspaper" print model pairs a black ribbon with an upper and heel decorated with text and photo motifs. Its release month differs from that of the two color-pairing models.
