On October 8, Beauty & Wellness Professional University announced its 4th university festival, "Lily Festival." It will be held over two days, Saturday, November 7 and Sunday, November 8, 2026, at its campus in Tsuzuki-ku, Yokohama, Kanagawa.
This year's theme is "Wellness that connects mind, body and beauty." Plans include student-produced salons, a student makeup show, food stalls and a bingo game.
12 student-run salons, including makeup and nails
The "student-produced salons" are on-campus practice salons planned and run by third-year students of the Beauty & Wellness department as part of their coursework. They open on campus for a limited time, and the students themselves handle treatments and customer service.
Students study practical skills such as esthetics, makeup, nails and workouts, as well as management and marketing. At the salons, they put this knowledge to use, from planning and attracting customers to running the salon.
The 12 salons on campus will each open on one of the two days of the festival. Not every salon is open on both days, so if there is a menu you want to try, pay attention to the operating days as well.
The operating hours, menus and reservation methods of each salon will be announced on the university's website and elsewhere. Please check the festival admission fee and the conditions for using each salon separately.
A makeup show, plus a paid talk show on the first day
The festival also plans a makeup show by students. Together with the practice salons, it offers a chance to experience the beauty skills students learn day to day.
On Saturday, November 7, a talk show with actor and model Rintaro Mizusawa will be held. Doors open at 13:00 and the show starts at 14:00. Attendance requires a separate fee and advance registration.
Admission to the talk show is ¥2,000 for S seats, ¥1,500 for A seats and ¥1,000 for B seats. Students of the university pay ¥500 for B seats. Tickets are sold on LivePocket.
