Ballelite Co., Ltd., jointly established by the Mash Group and Gunze, announced on October 9 that it released its third collaboration with Sanrio Characters on Thursday, October 8, 2026.
The first to arrive are the "Pompompurin" and "Kuromi" series. Each offers two styles: fluffy compression night over-the-knee socks and belly-warmer pants that cover the stomach. Both come in two sizes, M and L.
Pompompurin in ivory, Kuromi in charcoal gray
The Pompompurin series features the character on ivory fabric. A sleeping figure decorates the knee area of the socks and the front of the pants, with a small motif added on the back as well.
The Kuromi series is in charcoal gray to match the character. The socks are toeless and reach above the knee. The pants have an extended waist section designed to wrap around the stomach.
The lineup lets you match compression night socks and belly-warmer pants with the same character. The brand was born from a collaboration between Gunze, which makes innerwear, and the Mash Group, which runs brands such as Gelato Pique and Snidel.
My Melody & Kuromi design to be added in early November
The next addition, the "My Melody & Kuromi" series, comes in pink beige. The two styles, socks and belly-warmer pants, will be sold only at online stores and some physical stores. These also come in sizes M and L.
The belly-warmer pants feature different characters on the front and back, and the socks also carry a small motif. The release timing and retailers differ from the two series already on general sale.
Where each series is sold
The Pompompurin and Kuromi series are sold at USAGI ONLINE STORE, Biople, Hands and other stores. Some stores do not carry them. Online, they are sold through Rakuten Ichiba, MASH STORE, USAGI ONLINE, ZOZOTOWN, Amazon and the Gunze Store.
My Melody & Kuromi, scheduled for release in early November, is planned to be sold at USAGI ONLINE STORE, Loft, Rakuten Ichiba, MASH STORE, USAGI ONLINE, ZOZOTOWN and Amazon.
