On October 9, 2026, Mash Style Lab announced a collaboration collection between "emmi" and TAION, a Japanese inner-down brand. The two quilted pieces, a coat and an A-line skirt, go on sale at emmi directly operated stores nationwide from Wednesday, October 14.
Advance reservations are open now at the emmi official online store and USAGI ONLINE. Both pieces use 800 fill power down and are designed to be hand-washable at home.
The coat comes in 4 colors, including sky blue
The "[emmi x TAION] Quilted Feedy Coat" features a rounded silhouette and puffy quilting. It is filled with down and designed with volume around the collar as well.
It comes in 4 colors: ivory, light blue, brown and black. Sky blue, inspired by a clear sky, has been added as the special color for this collaboration. It comes in one size, Free, and costs ¥34,980 (tax included).
In the photos of it being worn, you can see the shape that flares toward the hem and the volume seen from the side. The quilted pattern, made with stitching in the fabric, covers the entire outerwear piece.
The skirt is designed so you can change its shape with a hem cord
The "[emmi x TAION] A-Line Quilted Skirt" has a flared silhouette. It has a drawcord at the hem, so you can change its outline depending on how you cinch it.
It comes in 3 colors, ivory, brown and black, in sizes 0 and 1, and costs ¥24,200 (tax included). Some colors are shared with the coat, and the published looks show a matching top-and-bottom outfit as well as the skirt styled with a knit.
Both pieces are hand-washable. By offering both a down coat and a down skirt, the collection lets you choose according to the tops you plan to pair them with and the items you need.
