On October 9, Sekikagu added new pieces to the Shadow series of its interior collection "CRUSH CRASH PROJECT." They can be purchased at the directly operated CRASH GATE, Sekikagu showrooms, retailers nationwide and the official online store.
Teak frames and kagome-woven rattan
The Shadow series is characterized by a design that pairs the calm wood tone of teak with kagome-woven rattan. Combining wooden frames with woven surfaces, it shows off the contrast between the materials. This time, chairs with different back and arm shapes and seat heights have been added.
The "Shadow Lounge Chair (Armless)" removes the arms from the existing model with arms. It measures 480 mm wide x 635 mm deep x 755 mm high with a seat height of 340 mm, and the manufacturer's suggested retail price is ¥64,900 (tax included). While showing off the rattan weave, it has a silhouette with no arms jutting out to the sides.
N-shaped frame, in one-seater and three-seater sizes
The "Shadow Lounge Chair N-Type" is a model characterized by the line of its frame seen from the side. It has no arms and a low build with a seat height of 334 mm. It comes in two sizes, a one-seater and a three-seater, and both use teak and rattan.
The one-seater measures 600 mm wide x 776 mm deep x 650 mm high and costs ¥105,600 (tax included). The three-seater measures 1750 mm wide x 776 mm deep x 650 mm high and costs ¥223,300 (tax included). The depth and height are the same, so you can choose the width according to where you will put it and how many people will use it. A dedicated cushion is available separately.
Seat height of 65 cm for counters, 75 cm for bars
For use with tall tables, the "Shadow Counter Chair" and "Shadow Bar Chair" have arrived. Both measure 510 mm wide x 510 mm deep; the counter chair is 975 mm high with a seat height of 650 mm, and the bar chair is 1075 mm high with a seat height of 750 mm.
The manufacturer's suggested retail prices are ¥79,200 (tax included) for the counter chair and ¥81,400 (tax included) for the bar chair. Though they share the same materials and design, the seat heights differ by 10 cm. When pairing them with a kitchen counter or similar, it is best to check the table height and the dimensions of each model before choosing.
