SWITCHBOT Co., Ltd., which operates the smart home brand SwitchBot, announced on October 9 that it has released the "SwitchBot RGBIC Light Bar." It is a set of two smart lights, available through official sales channels from Friday, October 9, 2026.
In addition to 16 million colors, it supports white light from 2200 to 6500K. It can be used both as lighting for creating a colorful mood in a room and as everyday indirect lighting.
Combine colors with six lighting zones
Each light is divided into six lighting zones and can display multiple colors at the same time. With 26 light effects, you can set gradients and moving light.
The included controller has a built-in microphone, and offers six music modes that change colors and movement in response to surrounding sound. For white light, brightness can be adjusted from 1 to 100% in addition to color temperature.
Vertical or horizontal, and even mounted on the back
Besides standing it upright with the included stand, it can be placed horizontally or attached with 3M double-sided tape. A built-in magnet also lets you attach it to metal surfaces that magnets stick to.
You can change its form to suit the location: standing it on both sides of a monitor, placing it on a TV stand, or attaching it to the back to light the wall. The magnet works on surfaces that magnets stick to.
Control with the app and the controller at hand
Colors and lighting patterns can be set in the SwitchBot app, and the included controller can also control power, brightness and modes. Voice control requires a compatible device with a voice assistant.
It supports Matter over Wi-Fi and can connect to compatible environments without adding a SwitchBot Hub. Available features and conditions vary by platform and environment.
