On October 9, Bandai Co., Ltd. Lifestyle Business Division announced new products for "Super Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair Academy" and opened preorders. The apparel is women's-size boxer briefs, and the accessories are character headbands.
Boxer briefs inspired by Hajime Hinata and Nagito Komaeda
The boxer briefs come in two designs inspired by Hajime Hinata and Nagito Komaeda. They reproduce the patterns of the underwear seen in the story and are made of 100% polyester fabric. The price is ¥3,960 (tax included), with shipping and handling fees charged separately.
They come in women's M and L and men's M and L. The women's M measures about 60 cm at the waist and about 76 cm at the hips, and the L about 72 cm at the waist and about 100 cm at the hips, according to the product information. As these are fabric goods, measurements may vary slightly.
The product information notes that, because of the printing method, white lines may appear where the elastic overlaps or along the sides. Before ordering, you can choose by checking not just the pattern but also the measurements and fabric specifications.
Monokuma and Monomi headbands with three-dimensional ears
The headbands come in two kinds: Monokuma and Monomi. The heads and their distinctive ears are rendered in three dimensions, in a design that brings the character's shape around your face. The main fabric is 100% polyester.
Laid flat, both are about 25 cm wide. The height is about 10.5 cm for Monokuma and about 11.5 cm for Monomi. Both the boxer briefs and the headbands are sold as products for ages 15 and up.
Preorders are accepted until 23:00 on November 9. Shipping is scheduled for February 2027, so these are not items that arrive right after you order. If the prepared quantity is reached, orders may close temporarily even before the deadline.
