On October 9, the Lifestyle Division of Bandai Co., Ltd. began taking reservations for apparel and goods commemorating the 30th anniversary of "PaRappa the Rapper." The items feature illustrations by the character's original creator, Rodney A. Greenblat.
Everyday Items: Mugs in 2 Designs and Towels in 4 Designs
The "PaRappa the Rapper 30th Art Mug" comes in two designs: Club Party and Mobile Phone. The price is ¥2,420 (tax included), with shipping and handling fees charged separately. The mug puts illustrations of the characters on a cup for your daily drinks.
The "B2 Towel" comes in four types: Mobile Phone, Club Party, PaRappa Town, and Group. The price is ¥3,300 (tax included). Even within the same series, you can choose by illustration and by how the characters are arranged.
The work will reach its 30th anniversary on December 6, 2026. The items include not only the existing illustrations but also, on some of them, newly drawn 30th anniversary commemorative illustrations. Not every item uses the same commemorative illustration.
Hair Ties Printed with Facial Expressions Are Sold at Random
The "Kaokao Okao Hair Ties" are small accessories with expressions printed on star-patterned hologram acrylic. There are 11 types in all: 5 of PaRappa, 2 of PJ Berri, 2 of Sunny Funny, and 2 of Katy Kat.
The price is ¥880 (tax included). The designs are random, and you cannot choose your favorite character to buy. The recommended age is 15 and over for every item.
In addition, acrylic stands that sway and rotate are also available. The shipping month differs by item, with shipping scheduled for November 2026 or later. Ahead of delivery, some items may be sold in-store at certain shops.
