On October 9, Hit Union Co., Ltd. announced that it has renovated the Takashimaya Gate Tower Mall store (Nagoya) of the British brand "FRED PERRY." The renovated store opened on Friday, October 9, 2026, and operates with about twice the sales floor area as before.
The store is on the 7th floor of the facility directly connected to Nagoya Station. Along with the expanded floor space, the space has been arranged to present everything from classic items to seasonal collections.
A shirt wall for comparing colors and shapes
The shirt wall, which displays the FRED PERRY SHIRT that symbolizes the brand, has also been expanded to about twice the size of the former store. It is arranged so that you can see multiple colors and silhouettes at once.
Centered on the shirt section, the store is organized to handle a wider range of product categories. It lets you compare classic clothing and new seasonal items in the same store.

Based on white and wood, with brand details placed throughout
The interior has been changed to a base of white and natural wood. Behind the register is an illuminated mirror wall on which the laurel wreath appears.
The white steel and wooden fixtures carry details reminiscent of the tipping line on a shirt and the "ORIGINAL SINCE 1952" engraving. There is also new space for displaying large visuals beside the entrance, on the glass facing the walkway, and on the walls inside the store.

To mark the renovation, a limited number of zines made with cultures and communities connected to the brand will be handed out. They are first come, first served, while supplies last.
FRED PERRY is a British fashion brand born in 1952. It offers clothing connected to sportswear and street style, such as shirts bearing the laurel wreath.
