On October 9, Y-Yacht Co., Ltd. announced "Enamel Kettle myPOT," a new product from its lifestyle tools brand 365methods (pronounced "San-Roku-Go Methods"). It has been available since October 6 at the official online store, "Y-Yacht Store," and other outlets.
A 12 cm-wide body with a suitable capacity of about 1.1 L
The body is 12 cm in diameter and 19.5 cm tall. It is a compact kettle designed so that you can boil water in the kitchen and carry it straight to the dining table. The overall product size is 215 x 120 x 195 mm, and it weighs about 690 g.
The full capacity is 1.6 L, and the suitable capacity for use is about 1.1 L. Because the full capacity and the suitable capacity differ, the suitable capacity is the guideline for how much to put in when boiling water. The announcement describes it as a size that can boil enough water for four to five mugs at a time.
It works on both open flame and induction heating (IH), so you can use it with your kitchen's heat source. Besides boiling water as a kettle, it is also suggested for brewing tea and placing it on the table as a teapot.
A curved spout and a seamless body
The spout has a curve and shape designed to reduce dripping. The body is seamless, with no joints, and has a wide opening so that you can put in a hand holding a sponge when washing it.
It comes in three colors: white, yellow, and café au lait. The design combines a body with straight-lined contours with a handle and a slim spout. You can choose it not only as a tool for the kitchen but also for how its color looks on the table.
365methods is a brand developed by Y-Yacht, which handles kitchen and dining goods. This myPOT is an enamel product that brings together size, pouring, and washing as a vessel for everyday household chores.
