On October 10, Sera Kogen Farm Co., Ltd. announced the blooming status of "Kokia and Cosmos Hill," currently under way at "Flower Village Kamu no Sato," and an extension of opening hours. The event runs through October 18. Through October 12, closing time is extended from the usual 17:00 to 18:00.
Colored kochia and cosmos spreading across the hill
In the garden, the autumn coloring of the kochia is progressing and the cosmos fields are in bloom. The photos were taken on October 9 and show kochia turned red and pink, with the flower fields stretching beyond.
The cosmos area also has a white photo spot, where you can walk close to the flowers and enjoy the view. Blooming and coloring change over time, so please check the latest bloom status announced by the facility before your visit.
Extended hours last through the final day of the holiday weekend
Regular opening hours are 9:00 to 17:00, with last admission at 16:30. For the three days from October 10 to 12, the garden is open until 18:00, and last admission is changed to 17:30. On October 12 as well, you can enjoy the flower fields into the evening.
Admission is ¥500 to ¥1,000 for adults and ¥200 to ¥500 for children aged 4 through elementary school, varying with the bloom status. The venue is Flower Village Kamu no Sato at 3-3 Kamitsuta, Sera-cho, Sera-gun, Hiroshima.
