On October 9, Sanko Gakuen Educational Foundation announced that Tokyo Wedding & Bridal College will hold the "In-School Dress Show by First-Year Students" on Saturday, October 24, 2026. The venue is the school in Hongo, Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo.
Students handle everything from choosing costumes to models and hair and makeup
The show is created by first-year students in the Bridal Hair & Makeup and Dress course. Each team chooses dresses and takes charge of styling, stage direction and show management. Students are also expected to serve as models and hair and makeup artists, as well as emcees and staff.
It was planned as an opportunity for parents and local residents to see what the students learn day to day. Besides the dresses, they will present the hair and makeup and staging that go with each costume.
Two sessions, morning and afternoon; apply in advance by phone
The morning session runs 10:20–11:00 and the afternoon session 14:20–15:00. Reception opens five minutes before each start, at 10:15 and 14:15. Those who wish to attend must apply in advance by phone to the school.
The venue is a 3-minute walk from Exit 5 of Hongosanchome Station on the Toei Oedo Line, and a 5-minute walk from Exit 2 of Hongosanchome Station on the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line. You can confirm your preferred session and viewing details when you apply.
