On October 9, Nesta Resort Kobe Co., Ltd. announced that it will hold its autumn and winter illumination "NESTA illumina" for the first time in two years. It will run from November 14 to February 28, 2027, at the facility in Miki, Hyogo Prefecture.
The park will be closed from February 1 to 10 during the event period. The image shown is an illustration of the effects.
A path of about 500 m that evokes the deep sea
This year's theme is "the deep sea." Using LED technology, the company plans to completely change the effects and create a space where light and video deepen the atmosphere. Visitors take in the display as they walk along the one-way, roughly 500 m "Hikari no Sanpomichi" (Path of Light).
In the Lagoon Area at the far end, a system that produces an artificial sea of clouds will be introduced. Light is layered over the mist, and the shapes it takes change with the wind and temperature. The sea-of-clouds system was developed by Ikeuchi Co., Ltd.
The sea-of-clouds effect runs through the end of the year; free for elementary school children and younger
The sea-of-clouds effect is scheduled to run through December 31. This differs from the period of the illumination itself, and it may be canceled depending on temperature, weather and other conditions.
Hours are 18:00 to 22:00, with last entry at 21:00. For admission, a variable-priced Illumination Pass is available, and children of elementary school age and younger are free. Holders of a 1 Day Pass can enter at no additional charge.
