Daimaru Suma (Suma-ku, Kobe), operated by Daimaru Matsuzakaya Department Stores Co., Ltd., will hold the "Ciao! Italian Fair" starting Tuesday, November 3, 2026 (a national holiday). The event was announced on October 13, and the second-floor venue, which features umbrellas, cameos, Venetian glass and more, runs through Monday, November 9.
A total of 12 companies will exhibit in the event space and elsewhere on the second-floor fashion floor. The "Il Marchesato Umbrella" and the "SV Cameo Pendant" are each priced at ¥33,000 (tax included).
Il Marchesato umbrellas and Olivietto hats
Y's International is an exhibitor that handles the import and sale of umbrella brands and more from Rome, Italy. This time it will offer the handmade "Il Marchesato Umbrella" in a limited quantity of two.
The umbrella is made of 100% polyester with a 61 cm main rib. Also on sale is the "Olivietto Hat" in a limited quantity of two. The hat is 100% polyester, one size, and priced at ¥24,200 (tax included).
TCO's cameo pendants and brooches
TCO will present shell cameos, a traditional craft of Naples. According to the store, the lineup includes works by cameo artists as well as everyday earrings, pendants and more, all handmade.
The "SV Cameo Pendant" is about 15 mm in diameter and about 40+5 cm long, priced at ¥33,000 (tax included). The "K18 Tortoiseshell Cameo Brooch" measures about 55 x 45 mm and costs ¥176,000 (tax included); it can also be used as a pendant top.
Della Luna's Venetian glass lamps
Della Luna, which imports and sells traditional Venetian crafts, will sell Venetian glass lamps. According to the store, Della Luna has direct contracts with several long-established workshops on the island of Murano, and handles interior items, accessories and lamps made by artisans.
Lamps start at ¥57,750 (tax included). The glass shade is H14 x 10 cm and up, the pendant cord is 100 cm, and the socket is listed as E17 LED bulb 40W equivalent / E26 LED bulb 100W equivalent.
Italian Fair second-floor venue: dates and location
The second-floor venue runs through Monday, November 9, and closes at 5:00 p.m. on the final day. The first-floor food floor runs from Tuesday, November 3 (a national holiday) to Tuesday, November 10, closing at 7:00 p.m. on the final day (with some exceptions), so its end date and closing time differ from those of the second floor.
