SHOPLIST Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo) announced that it has entered into a business partnership with "Lian Hair" (operated by Bisozo Co., Ltd.), one of Korea's largest hair salon franchises, and has become the exclusive sales partner (online and offline) for its products in Japan.
The partnership was concluded at an MOU signing ceremony held on July 31 at the Lian Beauty Academy in Korea. Lian Hair Chairman Yoo Sang-jun and SHOPLIST Vice President Lee Jin-young attended and signed the agreement.
Korea's No. 1 Hair Salon "Lian Hair" Enters the Japanese Market
Since its founding in 2001, Lian Hair has led Korea's beauty franchise market for 25 years as a top brand in the industry. This year, the number of member stores exceeded 500, and it boasts the No. 1 position in Korea in both brand recognition and number of salons as a hair and body care brand.
Lian Hair's own products are already sold through major overseas distribution channels such as Sam's Club, as well as in the Middle East and Russia, and their quality has been proven in international markets as well.
A Wide Range of K-Beauty Products
Lian Hair's strength lies in the fact that it offers a wide beauty lineup that goes beyond hair care.
In addition to the hair care line "Lian Professional," which is infused with know-how from the salon floor, and the nature-oriented "Lian Botanic," it also offers a premium skincare line that includes ampoules containing madecassoside, glutathione and PDRN, and a retinol collagen cream.
In Japan's K-beauty market, where skincare and makeup are the mainstream, SHOPLIST plans to bring in these products in stages, establishing a unique position as a "brand proven in salons."
Comments from Both Companies and Future Outlook
SHOPLIST Vice President Lee Jin-young said, "Lian Hair is one of the few salon-born brands in K-beauty, forged through the overwhelming customer touchpoints of its nationwide salon network. As the exclusive sales partner in Japan, we will bring Lian Hair's total beauty lineup to customers in Japan in stages, starting with hair care and then moving on to skincare."
Lian Hair Chairman Yoo Sang-jun said, "We feel very reassured to be teaming up with SHOPLIST, which knows the Japanese market well. By combining our strengths, we hope to envision together the growth of the Japanese and Korean beauty industries."
SHOPLIST plans to announce its product lineup and sales channel plans in Japan in stages during the second half of 2026.
